Jennie is the founder and CEO of Enhance the UK. She has worked with a wide range of Deaf and disabled people over the last 20 years, including people with learning difficulties and mental health issues. She has a level three qualification in British Sign Language and a great understanding for the deaf community as she herself has a hereditary degenerative hearing loss and is a hearing aid user.

 

Jennie is passionate about changing society’s views of disabled people for the better and is really excited to be returning to Festival of the Girl this year to introduce more brilliant girls to the joys of British Sign Language.
