Festival of The Girl 2020

- Future World

In 2020 we took Festival of The Girl ONLINE.

Our vision was to encourage more girls and their families to celebrate International Day of The Girl on Sunday 11th October. We did this by sharing content that inspired girls and adults through an engaging and exciting virtual festival.

With more than 2000 girls signing up from all over the world,  over 3300 plays of videos and 284 hours of content watched (that's nearly 12 days of footage in one day!) we were able to create a real impact with all the girls and boys who took part.

If you missed it click here for our YouTube channel where you can find all the incredible videos and activities that were created for Festival of The Girl 2020.

Festival of The Girl 2019

- Future Opportunities

We were thrilled to host our hugely successful inaugural festival on Saturday 5th October, 2019 in Tower Hamlets, celebrating all the incredible girls and boys who came and took part. With workshops, interactive stalls, Q&A’s and plenty of inspiring role models we shaped our Festival around the theme, Future Opportunities.

“Taylor Wimpey Oxfordshire is proud to be able to support the Festival of the Girl event.  It is so important that we inspire and educate girls at such a young age and ensure that they have the resources to reach the goals they set for themselves. My daughter loved the event and can’t wait to go again next year.”
