Let’s go back in time with BookLove this weekend! This Black History Month we’re going back in time to the Windrush period with BookLove, The Multicultural Travelling Book Carnival and we want you to get involved!

We want you to bring copies of your own family photos and memorabilia from the past to create our very own BookLove archive at this year’s Festival of The Girl (Sat 5th and Sun 6th Oct, Islington). If you have copies of old family pics, newspapers, accessories - anything from that era, please bring it along, we’d love to borrow it to add to our weekend pop-up Windrush Exhibition!

Come and meet BookLove’s founder Samantha and check out her own Windrush suitcases, alongside her travelling Windrush bookshop where books on this important era will be available to buy, alongside readings, letter writing workshops and so much more!
