Girls on Track UK aims to increase female participation in all aspects of the sport, whether as a competitor, volunteer or as a career choice. Formerly run under the Dare to Be Different brand, the programme was founded in 2016 by Susie Wolff to drive female talent and engagement with STEM based activities in all areas of motorsport. Responsibility for the delivery of the programme in the UK moved to Motorsport UK, the National Governing Body, in 2020.

The programme achieve engages a large audience through two key areas:

An extensive community of women and girls of all ages who have a shared passion for the sport.

A series of taster events bringing schoolgirls aged between 8 and 18 together with leading women in the sport.

Come along and meet the Girls on Track UK team at the Festival of the Girl and try your hand at the fun, fast packed pitstop challenge as well as testing your reactions on our batak light game.
