Jaz has been practising yoga for the last 21 years and has been teaching since 2003. She has completed her Yoga training with The British Wheel of Yoga (BWY) and studied further BWY modules, such as Pranayama and meditation, Pregnancy, Yoga for People Living with Cancer, Yoga for Children and many more.


Jaz is also a Trained Stott Pilates teacher. She qualified as a Yin Teacher with Norman Blair in 2014. Integrating Mindfulness and Compassion in Professional Practice Teacher with Mindfulness UK in 2017 and a Restorative Yoga Teacher with Judith Hansson Lasater in 2020.


Jaz sat on the BWY Committee as an Ambassador for Women of Colour and as a Representative of BWY for the City & North London areas. Jaz also assisted Paul Fox and Dr Stacie Graham as a tutor in delivering Teacher Training For 25 Women of Colour for the BWY. J


Jaz's teaching style is strong yet soft, infused with her many encounters with different styles of Yoga throughout her journey thus far. Her focus is on working from the inside out, alignment of the mind and body and practising mindfully.


Jaz runs monthly Yin and Restorative workshops in Highbury. Jaz classes are taught with themes relevant to day-to-day life and are woven into the philosophy of Yoga. More details can be found on her website,
