Nibi Lawson is a reformed accountant who channelled an obsession with hair and a frustration at not being able to get her hands on suitable products in Nigeria into Kinky Apothecary. An afro hair brand on the surface, the Kinky Apothecary mission extends much further. Through products, education and inspiration, our aim is to encourage self-love within our community.

 

Realising the problem was more widespread, Nibi began building haiRx (hairx.me), a UK-based on-demand concierge that cuts out trial and error when it comes to finding products for a seamless, convenient and simple haircare experience. Her main goal is to shatter Eurocentric beauty ideals and empower all women to embrace their unique beauty.
