During this workshop event G.M. will celebrate the original Windrush generation – of which her parents were part – and their lasting, joyful legacy. She’ll talk about some inspiring Black Britons who are featured in the new Sunshine Simpson book, Sunshine Simpson Cooks Up a Storm, and she’ll invite children to think about their own family, heritage, and community – all the things that make each of us who we are and able to shine bright, just like Sunshine.
