About ACCESS:VFX
ACCESS:VFX is a global, industry-led non-profit working to improve inclusion, diversity, opportunity and awareness across visual effects, animation and the wider creative industries. What we’ll be doing at Festival of the Girl
At this year’s Festival of the Girl, visitors can get hands-on with the technology used by professional artists working in visual effects and animation. Our interactive stand will feature creative workstations equipped with Wacom Cintiq displays and Wacom drawing tablets, giving girls the opportunity to design, model and bring their own characters and ideas to life.
They’ll also be able to create physical models using modelling clay before heading to a dedicated HUE workstation, where they can transform their creations into short stop-motion animations. ACCESS:VFX volunteers and industry professionals will be on hand throughout the festival to offer encouragement, share career insights and show that there is a place for everyone in our creative industries.
