CORPORATE WORKSHOP

Accept no limitations: breaking down gender barriers at work
The Festival of The Girl team bring the psychology and research behind gender stereotyping to your organisation with this interactive workshop, available in a variety of formats.
Attendees on the workshop will:
Reflect on their own experiences of gender stereotypes and the impact these have had. Explore what influences the generally held views about how and why the genders are different and bust some of these myths.
Uncover the hold this has on the youngest generation as we share research from kids aged 6-14.
Link in the longer-term impact of early messaging to societal* metrics of inequality. *option to add in organisation/industry specific statistics to this section.
Feel empowered to change the future by actively reducing gender microaggressions and encouraging microaffirmations of inclusivity.
Optional elements:
Facilitated world-café style follow-on session exploring the gender barriers and stereotypes in the attendees’ current context (team/department/organisation) and building action plans to create a more equal and less-stereotyped space.
Format options:
60-75 minute interactive virtual session for groups of up to 100 people. £1k+vat 90-120 minute face-to-face workshop for groups of up to 30 people. £1.5k+vat+travel Optional additional face-to-face 120 minute facilitated discussion and action planning (ideal for intact teams). £500+vat+travel
“This workshop was absolutely brilliant for my team – so enlightening, engaging and well delivered. Everyone (of all genders) really took to what can be a tricky subject, and we have moved forward in a much better, more mindful space together”
