About The Body Happy Organisation

Body Happy Org is a multi-award winning non-profit working to build cultures of body respect that allow children and young people to celebrate, respect and accept ALL bodies - especially their own! They work in schools and communities around the UK and further afield, helping schools, families and communities tackle body shame and create lasting change.

What we'll be doing at Festival of The Girl

​

At this year's Festival of the Girl, we'll be offering visitors opportunities to get hands-on with games and activities designed to build positive body image, challenge appearance ideals and help girls celebrate, respect and accept themselves and each other exactly as they are. Our stand will feature a Lego activity, a pledge activity, laminated think sheets to spark critical thinking, a crafty activity, and lots of books to browse and take away - bringing the same energy we brought to Festival of the Boy earlier this year!
