My name is Chiara, I am 13 years old and in 2020 and 2021 I took part in the virtual Festival of The Girl. In 2021 I was one of the winners of the #girlpower2021 competition with my vlog and was lucky enough to take part in a photo shoot with inspiring women including Tulip Siddiq MP. I was interviewed by BBC Radio Scotland about my involvement which was fun.

I was honoured to be the first Festival of The Girl Youth Ambassador and have enjoyed volunteering at the event and via the Youth Advisory Board. 

 

I have family who are in Cyprus, Italy and Australia. I have a lot of younger cousins who I help to look after and love very much.

 

I am a member of DSL dance school, am learning to play the bass guitar and I have singing lessons. I love watching musicals in the theatre and Disney films on tv.  I enjoy hanging out with my friends and love cooking.  I’m excited to start working towards a bronze award for the Duke Of Edinburgh scheme.
