Power of Women (POW) is a Tees Valley-based community interest company working to create equality of opportunity for girls and young people. We deliver programmes in primary schools, secondary settings and the wider community, connecting young people with relatable role models, real-world experiences and practical skills. Our work focuses on building confidence, broadening horizons and challenging the barriers that too often limit potential. Through partnerships with schools, businesses and community organisations, we create meaningful opportunities that help young people see what is possible and believe they can shape their own future, regardless of background, gender or postcode.
