Peggy is a 10-year-old UK singer-songwriter who has been writing songs since she was 6 and singing since she could talk! 

Spanning pop, folk and country, Peggy has already written over 50 songs. She is a two-times finalist in Song Academy’s national Young Songwriter competition (2025 & 2026), writes and records at London’s historic Bush Studios and performs at The Troubadour, London. In 2026 Peggy launched her debut album, epiphany, distributing it through the UK’s Young Business Showcase.

 

Festival of the Girl represents everything Peggy believes in and puts into practice - the power that comes with finding your creative voice, how honing your craft realises big dreams, and the importance of role models. Sharing the news with her family, friends, and teachers, she is honoured to be invited to perform!

Bringing live music to the 2026 Festival of the Girl for the very first time, ultimate Swiftie Peggy Wingham will kick-off her set with a Taylor classic before sharing original tracks from her 2026 debut album, epiphany. 

Following her performance, Peggy is excited to host an interactive Q&A. Girls can chat to Peggy, with budding musicians asking questions about the songwriting process, how to record their own music, learn about the challenges she’s faced so far, and discover why music is her greatest love.
